Insys 19" Modem LL

Beschrijving

Dedicated line modems use the same transmission technology as in the public telephone network for direct wired connections, e.g. between system parts on the grounds of a company.

Leased line modems connect two, party line modems several terminal devices (multidrop). The connection is established automatically on boot-up. Leased line modems may be run also over fed or unfed Telecom leased lines. They come with a pre-configuration in pairs as originate and answer versions.

Leased line modems may transmit the status of the digital inputs at any change and at regular intervals to the remote station and display it on its outputs.

INSYS 19" modems are connected via the serial interface (RS232) to the local application (e.g. a control system).

The INSYS 19" modem LL is ideal for application areas in which many data transmission units are to be accomodated at the same place. Due to its modular design, analogue modems for dial-up lines and dedicated lines as well as digital ISDN adapters may be integrated as slot cards according to performance requirements.
